Chocolate Shots
The essentials
Ingredients
- 100g dark chocolate
- 4 medium sized avocados (400g)
- 80g maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Makes 8 shots
Method
Put the chocolate in a glass bowl and place over a pan with boiling water. Stir occasionally making sure the chocolate is melted through and then put to one side.
Put the rest of the ingredients in a food processor (or nutribullet if you don’t have a food processor) and combine until silky smooth.
Add the melted chocolate to the avocado mixture until fully mixed through.
Divide the mixture into 8 shot glasses.
Place in the fridge for 20 minutes and then they’re ready to eat.
A little bit extra
These little pots of deliciousness are quite rich so you might like to serve them with a raspberry on top to cut through the richness.
Avocados are a great source of healthy fat. They are packed with fibre and have more potassium than a banana!
