The essentials
Ingredients
- 35g porridge oats
- 120 ml almond milk
- 1 ripe banana
- Handful of blueberries
- 1 tsp chia seeds
Serves 1
Method
Mix the oats and almond milk in a pan over a light heat, stirring gently until they combine, reach a silky texture.
Using a hand blender or Nutribullet, mix together the banana, blueberries and chia seeds.
Place as much of this as you would like on top of the porridge – we suggest around 2 tablespoons. Keep the rest for tomorrow!
A little bit extra
This is such an easy breakfast option and can be made within minutes ready to eat before heading out. Packed with lots of nutritional goodness it’s a great way to start your day!
Blueberries are an excellent antioxidant which helps protect our bodies from damage. They are also a very good source of vitamin C and fibre.
